Today, industrial products must be a lot more than the sum of their mechanical parts – they are complex systems with very high functional and technical requirements. To build our pump components, we need first and foremost a number of high-precision components. Therefore recently our production centre has acquired a Coordinate Measuring Machine for our QC department. This machine is able to measure all spare parts side in three dimensions. The MH20i are the new generation of manually adjustable probe heads from Renishaw that could sample hundreds sample points to calculate the most precise distance inside or outside the spare parts. The accuracy is up to 0.0001 mm.
