Realizing the importance of the technical understanding of pumping system, ACE (Association of Chief Engineers) Semarang invited McKarlen Indonesia to hold a Pump and System Training on Saturday, November 3rd 2018 at the Sonic Airport Hotel in Semarang, Central Java.

This Training covers theory and design for standard and non-standard pumps, variable speed and its interaction with pumps and systems. Each participant learnt how to select and size the proper pump for the application. In addition, attendees also received valuable experience in selecting, sizing and installing all the pumps available in the McKarlen product portfolio. The calculation software was also distributed to the participants

The session covers all special working conditions and installation of clean water and wastewater pumps. Attendees receive information on how to select and size the right system in different situations, how the NPSHR changes other aspects of pump related issues they may find in their own installation.

Budiman, director of McKarlen in Indonesia who is the main presenter at the seminar, has dedicated his time in the pump and water industries for more than 20 years said that we need to help the engineers to reduce their downtime and also cost.
