The 38th National Convention of the Philippine Association of Water Districts (PAWD) was held on February 1-3, 2017 at the SMX Convention Center, Lanang, Davao City. During the event, McKarlen showcased its latest product line-up and also its product champion which is the Stainless Steel Submersible Deep Well pumps, SP range which has been widely used in the municipal and industrial market all over the world.

The Philippine government will soon establish a central water agency to ensure the efficient management of water resources in the country. President Duterte has announced during the convention the planned rationalization of the country’s water-related agencies. “We will establish a central water agency under which all water-related functions will be addressed. It’s coming during my term,” the President said.
